Advantage® is used for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations on cats and dogs, and for the treatment of biting lice (Trichodectes canis) on dogs. It can also be used for the treatment of flea infestations on pet rabbits and as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) in the cat and the dog, where this has been previously diagnosed by a veterinary surgeon. Flea treatments should be given at least every 4 weeks to ensure maximum protection, and ideally be combined with a household flea spray to ensure both the animal and the environment are treated.
